Chip Duggins

Chip Duggins is a Partner and Co-Head of North America Private Equity Transaction Management at Lazard CL, having joined from Lazard's Private Capital Advisory group in New York in November 2026, which he originally joined in 2016. In that capacity, he advises clients in connection to primary fundraisings across a wide range of investment strategies, including buyout, growth equity, special situations, and private credit, and is also active in the group’s business development initiatives.

Prior to joining Lazard, Chip was a Vice President with Harris Williams & Co., a leading M&A advisor focused on the middle market. Chip began his career as an Analyst at Cannondale Associates, a consultancy focused on the consumer and retail industries.

Chip earned an MBA in Finance at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, along with an A.B. in Economics and a minor in History as an undergraduate at Duke University.
